Magma birthday treat
Thanks to the generous Flame Digital crew I received some birthday book tokens to a lovely book shop. Magma is to designers, as the sweetshop is to school children. I must have everything! Anyway I only had my dinner hour (rock-star I know) to choose, here are those choices and a quick initial review.

New site launch
I’ll be launching the new design this weekend. Keep your eyes peeled. New design includes birds (of course), new branding, backgrounds that change color, weird lighting effects, funny picture of me as a kid, some new portfolio items, hand drawn icons, fancy transparency, darkness, lots more articles (I promise)

Mixamatosis’s First Night

The current state of CSS galleries
I Stumbled across something interesting today, It even stirred me enough to make a blog post. CSS gallery showcase Unmatchedstyle have come up with a video podcast critiquing some of the websites they have featured. Its 8 minutes long and they get through 4 websites. Credit to the Unmatchedstyle team for trying to do something different in a market that is giving birth to identical offspring every day. I suspect the keyword “CSS” and “Gallery” throws a million results on google.
