Thanks to the tips (not p.g) and my gym membership I’ve become exceedingly active. These are the tips that work for me, everyones different of course. Have a mooch through this article and see what works for you.
1. I do something new every few weeks thats very small, Instead of having a caffine/suger full soft drink on my way to work I now have orange/juice or water. My new task is to take the stairs if I have to wait more than 5 seconds for the lift, then race the lift! 4 flights of stair always gets your heart beating.
Combining tasks, I’ve started to read a book on the boring bus jouney’s to and from work. I found the boring ride was making me feel sleepy. You got to keep the mind active else it’ll shut down. Keep on the go.
Write a new list at the start of the week (during the boring monday meeting). Jot everything and I mean everything down, however little the task. Then when you get back to your desk tackle the hardest. if you can complete that one task the rest will disappear with ease. If you don’t finish all the things on your list just add them to the next week’s list. If you do this they will eventually get done. Getting things done makes you happier.
Challenge yourself to see how fast you can get things done. I’m not talking about things that need concentration. I’m talking about silly things like, sending an email to your landlord about the broken light outside your house. If anything he/she will rush about thinking the bad grammar/spelling is down to a nasty fall down the steps. Landlords hate lawyers.
Whatever you do, you must split up the two periods of time before and after your dinner break. Split your daily tasks up as to-do’s before dinner and then to-do before home time. Go to the bookies and waste all your money. Go to the Lap dancing club and gain a stalker complex. Go to tesco’s and rob a mars bar (don’t get caught). Getting out of the office is essential, give your brain some nice new colors/smells (just don’t steal any lap dancers underwear).

University isn’t for everyone. Though harder, you can still forge a career in the design industry without a degree but you need bucket-loads of drive. Published Web Designer Magazine May 2008
